2014

TOYP LATVIA 2014

In collaboration with international youth organization Junior Chamber International (JCI) Latvian Representation Foundation "URBAN's fund for education and science" organized a charity project "Ten Outstanding Young Persons" (TOYP). The aim of this project was to honour excellent young people in Latvia whose stories of their findings, determination and imagination inspire other young people to achieve success, to be better leaders and to make a positive change in society.

Charity events about work with the target audience

In order to support the development of education and science and motivate the target audience to achieve success, the Foundation's representatives regularly took a part in various experience-sharing events - seminars, lectures, panel discussions and meetings for experience sharing in order to share the knowledge about work with the target audience and collaboration partners, including NGOs, teachers, parents and teens. The subjects of the events - the development and fulfilment of a person, the creation and planning of a family's budget, mutual relationships, parent-children communication improvement, coaching, etc.


2015

RADAM NOVADAM

In collaboration with international youth organization Junior Chamber International (JCI) Latvian Representation Foundation "URBAN's fund for education and science" organized a charity project "Radam Novadam". During this project, 18 teams of students in 18 regions from 8 universities developed more than 18 business and social ideas with the goal to develop entrepreneurship in Latvia's regions, thus creating more jobs and attracting investments.

TOYP LATVIA 2015

In collaboration with international youth organization Junior Chamber International (JCI) Latvian Representation Foundation "URBAN's fund for education and science" organized a charity project “Ten Outstanding Young Persons”. Within this project, there were 11 charity events, in which TOYP award's receivers met with teens to share their experience. The President of Latvia Raimonds Vejonis honoured everyone by attending the award ceremony.


2016 

TOYP LATVIA 2016

In collaboration with international youth organization Junior Chamber International (JCI) Latvian Representation Foundation "URBAN's fund for education and science" organized a charity project "Ten Outstanding Young Persons" (TOYP). The aim of this project was to honour excellent young people in Latvia whose stories of their findings, determination and imagination inspire other young people to achieve success, to be better leaders and to make a positive change in society. Within this project, there were 6 charity events, in which TOYP award's receivers met with teens to share their experience.

Charity events about work with the target audience

In order to support the development of education and science and motivate the target audience to achieve success, the Foundation's representatives regularly took a part in various experience-sharing events - seminars, lectures, panel discussions and meetings for experience sharing in order to share the knowledge about work with the target audience and collaboration partners, including NGOs, teachers, parents and teens. The statistics show that the representatives of the Foundation participated in 3 different experience-sharing events in different inhabited places - Riga, the region of Riga, Jelgava, Liepaja, Saulkrasti.

2017

In 2017, the Foundation planned its activities for 2018 to achieve their goals and did not engage in any activities due to a large number of duties in other projects.
